Mission Statement - what are we here for?

We believe that God's purpose for Brentwood Baptist Church is for us:

to enable people in our town to recognise Jesus Christ as their Saviour;

to make disciples of Jesus;

and to help them to love, to trust, to worship and to serve Jesus as Lord.

Our members come from all over the Borough of Brentwood but the principal focus of our outreach is the Warley area, including the new developments of Clements Park.

We are very happy to be working in cooperation in mission with a number of churches through Brentwood and District Evangelical Fellowship and Churches Together in Brentwood, and with the Brentwood Schools Christian Worker Trust. In particular we have a leading role in the churches' involvement in the Council's annual "Lighting Up Brentwood" event.
