Treasurer

Nick moved to Brentwood as a teenager with his parents. He left in his twenties and then returned more than 30 years ago to the same house with his wife, Linda and their three sons.  The family began to attend Brentwood Baptist Church and Nick and Linda soon became members.  Nick's career was based in London, working for financial companies as a project manager but he is now retired. 

Deacon

Mick was brought up in a Christian family and was baptised and married at Main Road Baptist Church, Romford. He and his wife Tina moved to Brentwood and have been coming to Brentwood Baptist Church for the last 35 years. They have two sons who are both married, and five grandchildren who keep them busy. Mick is our Safeguarding Trustee.

Deacon

Derek was born in North London and served in the Boys' Brigade attached to his local Baptist Church. He established a career in a global automotive manufacturing company before taking early retirement. He is married to Sonia and has two sons, the family home being located in Cranham. Sonia and Derek joined Brentwood Baptist Church in 2012, having attended a previous Baptist Church for 22 years.

Deacon

Eric has been happily married to Jenny for 56 years.  They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Eric worked with computers until 1981 when God called him to become a Baptist minister.  After a 4-year course at Spurgeon’s Theological College he went on the pastor in three Baptist churches, retiring in 2021 when they moved to Brentwood and became members here at Brentwood Baptist Church.

They enjoy spending time with the family and were recently out kayaking whilst watching two of their granddaughters paddleboarding.

Deacon

Godfried joined the Brentwood Baptist Church with his family in 2006. Prior to this, his family fellowshipped at the Metropolitan Tabernacle Baptist Church in London for almost a decade. Godfried served as an evangelism coordinator as part of an outreach ministry at the Berean Baptist Church to plant the Blessed Hope Baptist Church, Accra Ghana in the early 90s. He is a Computer Scientist by profession with a background in International Development having worked for the World Bank and United Nations early part of his career. He is currently the CEO of a Tech firm and also a Subject Matter Expert in his special areas of interest at the University of Essex Online and has held senior academic posts in England  cooperating internationally with a number of Universities globally as a Scholar and Professor in Information Security and Applied Computational Intelligence. Godfried lives with his family in Brentwood and enjoys playing percussion instruments.

Administrator

Mel became the church administrator in 2022, she can be found at the church office on weekday mornings, She and her family emigrated to the UK, about 4/5 years ago from South Africa.

Kay led our Preschool until her retirement and is now a busy volunteer in church activities and the go-to person for King Pins.
