The Women's Own is a group of ladies who get together on a Tuesday afternoon at 2.30pm in our Kings Hall for fellowship and mutual encouragement.

Every week, there are different activities, ranging from guest speakers to various indoor activities and visits.

THE WEEKDAY GROUP

Throughout the year, the group organises events with a variety of different activities, from eating together to visiting places of interest, often travelling together in the Church minibus.

KING PINS

Saturdays (alternate)10am - 12noon

King Pins meet to knit or crochet and have a chat.

Members of the group usually bring their own knitting projects which often include knitting for charity.

THE MID-CENTURIONS

This group comprises mainly those who were born in the 1950s, who enjoy ad hoc events, including an annual fireworks party and summer barbecue.

OASIS Coffee morning and Warm Space

Mondays: 10.30am - 1pm

The Church opens the front doors in Kings Road to friends and passers-by, encouraging them to drop in for a free cup of tea, coffee and a chat.

New friends can be made, and questions relating to the Christian faith can be answered.

BOOK CLUB

Mondays: 7.30pm (dates agreed at each meeting)

The Book Club meets every couple of months to discuss a Christian book suggested by a group member and chosen collectively. The group has read an eclectic selection of books, and the discussions are wide-ranging, stimulating thought and enabling growth, both as Christians and in understanding of each other.
